Occult V3, Omen V3 and Omen SL. The same planted stance, rebuilt around six years of riding, servicing and learning what the weather can get through.
01 / Where it started
Six years under our feet.
The original Occult came out in 2020 and became the starting point for pretty much every pedal we have made since.
It had all the things we wanted under our own feet: a big platform (not massive though), real concavity, adjustable grip and a low profile. The Omen followed in 2021 as our made-in-Washington version, and both pedals moved to V2 in 2023.
Since then, we have spent a lot of time riding them, smashing them into roots and rocks and opening them back up in our shop. Our Free Pedal Refresh program gives us a pretty honest look at what years of mud, dust, pressure washers, bad line choices and general neglect can do to a pedal. V3 is the result of that knowledge.
We did not change the parts we already loved just so we could call these new. All three V3 pedals use the same 110 × 105 mm platform and 2 mm of dual concavity. They still feel proportionate, planted and properly sunk-in underfoot.
A new shape with a job to do.
02 / Glance, don't catch
The V3 pedals look quite a bit different, but this was not just a styling exercise.
We added a chamfer to the leading edge to help the pedal glance off rocks and roots instead of taking every hit square on. The rest of the shape was cleaned up and modernized without messing with the stance and feel that made us like the pedals in the first place.
The Omen V3 and Omen SL are fully CNC-machined in Washington State. We leaned into the machining instead of trying to hide it, because clean tool paths and a raw-looking machined surface are a big part of why we love making parts this way.

03 / Three stages, four seals
Water finds a way.
After enough PNW winters in Bellingham, we can confirm that water indeed does find a way. The V3 internals use three seals at the crank side, plus a fourth at the end cap. They are not four versions of the same seal stacked on top of each other. Together they form a labyrinth, with each seal doing a different job as you move toward the bearings.

Mid-level wiper seal
Sitting behind the dust seal, the wiper is focused on keeping water out before moisture can reach the internals.
The last stop
Inner O-ring
The O-ring adds damping at the spindle interface and acts as the final line of defense against moisture ingress.
From the other side
End-cap O-ring
It seals the end cap and protects the bearing end of the pedal from water and contamination entering from the opposite side.

There’s a lot to love about a beautifully machined chunk of aluminum. Especially when it’s going on your bike.

The Omen V3 and Omen SL are CNC-machined in Washington State. We leaned into the machining on this generation, leaving the tool paths visible because the process is part of what makes these pedals ours.
Start with aluminum.
Both Omen bodies start with 6061 aluminum. The platform, concavity and details are machined into the material.

Look closely and you can follow the tool paths across the body. That finish is a part of the pedal we wanted you to see.
Make it count underfoot.
A 110 × 105 mm platform, 2 mm of dual concavity and a chamfered leading edge. Proportionate, planted, and shaped to glance off the things you’d rather miss.

We spend a lot of time riding our pedals. We also send them to EFBE in Germany, because there are things a test lab can tell you that another lap won’t.
All three V3 pedals have passed EFBE’s Tri-Test E-Gravity certification.
