BODEM AL V3 HANDLEBAR

Alloy. Right where you want it.

You demanded we bring back the alloy bar. The Bodem AL V3 answers with the sweep combo we love, two rise options and a clean finish. A familiar place for your hands, easy on the eyes.

Why this one

Two ways to set the height.

Choose 30 or 40 mm of rise. Same sweep and width, with a different starting point for your hand position.

Alloy, on purpose.

7050-T6 double-butted construction. Durable and lightweight with butting to the chatter down.

A clean cockpit.

Onyx or Silver, with the fit and premium finish that sits perfectly alongside your Nora stem and Icon grips.

Alloy, On Purpose.

The Bodem AL V3 uses 7050-T6 double-butted aluminum. Double-butted means the wall thickness varies along the bar instead of staying the same throughout, a way to make deliberate choices about where material goes with huge impacts on how it feels on trail.

Both rise options share an 800 mm starting width, 35 mm clamp diameter, 9° backsweep and 5° upsweep. That gives you the same basic shape to compare while deciding how high you want your hands.

30 mm Rise: Your Lower Starting Point.

The 30 mm Bodem is the lower of the two rise options. If you like your current hand position or want to compare a lower bar with the 40 mm option, it gives you that starting point without changing the sweep or supplied width.

Rise is only one part of the result. Your frame, stem, spacers and bar roll all contribute to where your hands end up. Compare it with the bar you’re riding now and think about the position you want, rather than choosing a rise in isolation.

40 mm Rise: A Little More Height.

The 40 mm option adds 10 mm of nominal rise over the 30 mm Bodem. It keeps the same 9° backsweep, 5° upsweep and 800 mm starting width, so you can compare the two without changing every part of the bar’s shape.

If you’re looking for a higher starting position for your hands, this is the option to consider. It isn’t a universal fit recommendation: your complete cockpit still determines the final position. Take time to set up your controls and bar roll around the way you ride.

EFBE Tri-Test Gravity Certified

We ride our bars. We also value testing that happens away from the trail, under controlled conditions. The Bodem AL V3 is EFBE Tri-Test Gravity Certified, with fatigue, maximum-load and overload testing examining different demands on the part.

Repeated loading and heavier individual loads ask different things of a handlebar. Independent testing gives us another way to evaluate the design alongside time on the bike. It’s part of the work behind a component you rely on every ride.
